Lead Shop Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service a wide variety of light, medium

and heavy equipment and machinery including dump trucks,

skid loaders, lifts, pickup trucks and trailers

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension

and brakes

• Maintain vehicle records

• Perform routine maintenance

• Change tires

• Maintain a clean and professional work environment including

tools, equipment, shop and service truck

• Respond to service calls for breakdowns

Requirements

• Previous truck and equipment experience including a wide

knowledge and strong understanding of diesel engine

components, systems, and repair procedures

• The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively

• Close attention to detail, multi-task and work efficiently

• Excellent communication skills

• DOT certification (or willing to obtain)

• Valid driver’s license

• CDL

Salary based on experience
